London Wasps

Wasps previously played their home games at Loftus Road in West London. They however made the move to High Wycombe in 2002. The crowds figure went up by 31.8% the next season.[9] In recent years, Wasps have played their season opener in the London Double Header at Twickenham, in 2006 this drew a crowd of 51,950, breaking the record set in 2004.[10] From the start of the 2003/4 season to the end of the 2005/6 season the stadium was sponsored by Causeway Technologies and known as the Causeway Stadium.

Adams Park

The new stadium coincided with an upturn in the club's fortunes as, under the guidance of Martin O'Neill, they won the FA Trophy at Wembley thanks to a 2?1 win over Kidderminster Harriers. This was no doubt helped by the fact the club had no loans to service due to the stadium construction.

Downley

The name Downley is a corruption of Anglo-Saxon words dun (meaning wood)or down (meaning hill) and lea (meaning clearing). As Downley was possibly a settlement from Anglo Saxon Times this would be a fair translation.[3]

Aylesbury

By the late 19th century the printers and bookbinders, Hazell, Watson and Viney and the Nestlé dairy were the two main employers in the town, employing more than half the total population.

King's Head Inn, Aylesbury

The King's Head Inn is notable as being one of the oldest public houses with a coaching yard in the south of England. It is located in the Market Square, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
