How to Hold a Packing Party
Published on Monday, 21 December 2009

How to Hold a Packing Party Time is gold, right? Then why don't you hold a packing party? It will be like having a farewell party and packing in one. The party will undoubtedly be helpful for you with all your friends helping with the packing. The party will also be great for your friends as you give them a chance to help you and say thanks to you. Here are the steps you should follow to hold a successful packing party:   1.    Invite friends. Send out invitation cards for the packing party. Explain to them that they should be helping you to pack while all of you are having a good time together. Confirm their attendance to the party at least two days before the set date.   2.    Prepare the food. You should show your appreciation to your friends for helping you to pack. Preparing food is also your responsibility being the party's host.   3.    Prepare packing. Before the packing party, make sure that you already have all the packing materials and things to be packed ready for your guests. Create a guideline also so they'll know how to properly pack items. You can either send the guideline out or you can instruct them at the party.   You are now ready for the packing party. Play music while the party goes on and don't forget to give away some snacks and to take short breaks.   After the party, it will be nice to send out thank you cards to all your friends who attended and helped you with the packing. So there, have a happy packing party!
