The University of London Observatory at Mill Hill in London is a teaching astronomical observatory which is part of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at University College London.
The London Borough of Barnet has 86 primary schools, 22 secondary schools and four special schools. Woodhouse College is a single site state sixth form college in North Finchley. The main college in the borough is Barnet College, with five sites.[35]Middlesex University has its main campus at Hendon. University College London has its teaching observatory at Mill Hill.
The typical daytime service from the station is four trains per hour southbound to central London, Wimbledon and Sutton; and four trains per hour northbound, of which two terminate at St Albans and two at Luton; and several through the night train services between Bedford and Brighton. After 18:00 the southbound service is only two trains per hour, but the station is served by four trains per hour northbound from St.Pancras and central London until 22:30, when the service becomes two trains per hour.
Hertford Castle was a Norman castle situated by the River Lea in Hertford, the county town of Hertfordshire, England.
The town centre still follows the medieval layout with many timber-framed buildings hidden under later frontages, particularly in St Andrew Street. Hertford suffers from traffic problems despite the existence of the 1960s A414 bypass called Gascoyne Way which passes close to the town centre. Plans have long existed to connect the A10 with the A414, by-passing the town completely. Nevertheless, the town retains very much a country-town feel, despite lying only 19.2 miles (30.9 km) north of Central London. This is aided by its proximity to larger towns such as Harlow, Bishop's Stortford and Stevenage where modern development has been focused.
